My First Blog....

Just to let you guys know, this is my first blog so bare with me if you will. My friends told me blogging is a good place to vent so i decided to try it. I don't really know where to start with blog so here it goes, this is me venting. I guess I will start with a story. This is a story of a young girl born and raised in the Bronx who didn't  exactly have everything given to her on a silver platter. Through many events in her life, she had to learn how to do without and learn not to complain about what you don't have. If you want something you have to go out in the world to get, THE RIGHT WAY. She's has seen many people in her life fuck up their life and refuses to let that be the outcome for her. Her method to get through the madness is education. She decided to let education be her raft in her rocky river she calls life.  She fees that she is constantly pulled in different directions by different people and doesn't want to let anyone down. She finds it odd that she doesn't have trouble opening up to a man-made website but struggles to open up to people she knows she can trust. Realizes that her greatest fears are judgment and failure. Sometimes she lets her weaknesses and insecurities get in the way of her success but with help of her wonderful friends, ( A.I.K.) she is trying to put an end to that. She also wants to use her education as a tool to make her mark on the world. She has dreams and aspirations that some people close to her continue to tell her will never come true. Even though she knows thatwhat they say is bullshit, as everyday becomes harder and harder, somewhere inside her believes those people who think she will nothing more than a statistic. Her goal is to learn how to stop wearing her heart on her sleeve, grow a tough skin, and accept the fact that life isn't easy,  it's just going to get harder from here and, only the strong survive...stay tuned for more!
